What we collect, and who else sees it.

We run a marketing agency, so we measure things. This page says exactly what that means for you, names every third party involved, and tells you how to get your data removed.

What we collect

What you send us

When you submit the audit form, we receive your name, work email, community or operator name, and your stated goal. When you sign up for the monthly memo, we receive your email address and nothing else, and you can unsubscribe from any issue. When a client submits a campaign request, we receive the details on that form plus any files attached to it. Campaign requests are handled on a separate application at campaigns.inertiadigital.marketing, described below.

What your browser tells us

Standard request data: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is what any web server receives, and we use it in aggregate to understand which pages are useful.

How you move through the site

We record anonymised interaction data (clicks, scrolling, and general navigation) so we can find pages that confuse people. This is behavioural, not personal, and we do not use it to identify individuals.

Calls you place to us

This site does not display a phone number. Numbers shown in our advertising and on client landing pages are tracked so a call can be attributed to the campaign that produced it. Call metadata, and in some cases recordings, are retained for quality and attribution.

How we use it

To reply to you, to deliver work for clients, to measure which marketing actually works, and to keep the site secure. That is the whole list.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone other than the processors named below, each of which is contracted to handle it on our behalf.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. This site is aimed at senior living operators, not at families or residents.

Who processes it

Every third party with access to data from this site, and what each one does. Each link goes to their own policy.

Campaign requests

Client campaign requests are not submitted on this site. They are handled by a separate WordPress application at campaigns.inertiadigital.marketing, hosted by WP Engine in the United States, where the submission and any files attached to it are stored. Access is restricted to Inertia staff and to the client users we invite.

Submissions trigger an internal email so the request reaches the team that acts on it. Uploaded files are not public.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and campaign requests are kept for as long as we work together, and for seven years afterwards where records are needed for tax and contractual purposes. Analytics data follows each provider's own retention period, typically 14 to 26 months.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner. See below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct it if it is wrong
  • Ask us to delete it, subject to records we are required to keep
  • Ask for a copy in a portable format
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, which we do not sell
  • Be free from retaliation for exercising any of these

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within 45 days.

Turning tracking off

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings, and most respect the Global Privacy Control signal, which we honour. You can opt out of Google Analytics specifically with Google's browser add-on.

Blocking cookies will not stop you using this site. Nothing here is gated behind tracking.
